hi! my eyeballs fell out of my head when I read your story. The EXACT same thing happened to us 4 months ago here in San Diego and we still do not have our 2 babies. I too took my 1-year-old son into the Emergency Room for an arm injury. After 12 hours there, they turned the tables on my husband and...

I'm currently in the middle of our case in San Diego. Last week we came in contact with new medical evidence that contradicts everything CPS accuses of. Due to this experience, we have been witness to kinks in the system. Anything I can do to ensure that this does not happen to any other families is...

medical inconsistencies
Three months ago, my husband and I were accused of abusing our 11-month-old son. They said he had a fracture in his distal humerus, that this injury was "non-accidental" describing it as a twist and pull, like we had used his arm as a "handle". On July 22 we took him for a follow-up appt where the o...

The bill is due for $600 to the PD this week. Is there any way to approach this or is this a bill I'll have to pay?

that's exactly what we did...only it was our first detention hearing, only 2 days after they took our babes that we put in my aunt's name and it wasn't until 44 days later that they were with my aunt's familiar face and not in foster care.

i was confused about the last line..."as to when children are returned" and the recommendation of "fictive placement at the 14-day hearing". is this in reference to when the children should be returned to family and placed in their custody? should it be expected to happen by the 14-day hearing or at...

yes, we did sign a case plan 3 weeks ago in what I consider legal blackmail. they said if we signed my aunt would be able to take custody of our babes the next day! they had already been in a foster home for 6 weeks so that was a main motivator for signing. our trial date was set for the following w...

my two children (ages 3 & 1) are now in the custody of my aunt, who lived 2 hours outside of san diego. at first CPS denied her custody since she didn't live within San Diego county but then my husband & I suggested to move out of our house so she can occupy it with our children. it was our ...

we're in san diego california. can anyone tell me how long it took for relatives to take custody of their babies? our babies spent 6 weeks too long and our 1-year-old came home with his face extremely scratched up. we have overwhelming family support so we feel there was no reason for our 2 babies t...

our babies were taken 2 1/2 months ago after my husband and I were wrongfully accused of child abuse. now the bills are starting to come in. our childrens' public defender's bill, in particular, irks me. my 3-year-old keeps asking for us, wants to come home, tells me on the phone she wants to "go wi...
