yup thats us. We trust all our doctors we have now. They have backed us fully with the last case. My only guess is someone from social security saw his weight written somewhere and decided to call child protection. I guess they didn't learn from last time. I know I got them a few times when I recite...

Yes this is CPS. They showed up with a warrent, and a cop. The allegations are that our son is underweight. He has cystic fibrosis. This is why we are applying for social security disibility for him. He is three so he didn't say anything at the doctors visit. We were investigated before around two y...

Question Does Social Security Report to OCS
Thats my question, we are attempting to apply for disability for our son. We had a doctors evaluation a few weeks ago and now CPS is starting an investigation. Thats the only thing I can think of that would start an investigation.

So far I have asked a few questions on the and have always gotten a respose back. My experience is that anyone on the state level is totally useless, but fed...

Failure to Thrive
I hate to scare you but your case does sound a bit like ours. Although all state CPS procedures are slighly different a normal investigation lasts about 30 days. If nothing is to come of it you get your letter stating its unfounded. It really sounds like they are extending the case just waiting for ...

We were being set up.
Shortly after the actual investigation started we went to a monthly check up with our sons pulmonologist. This is the doctor we later fired. But he claimed our son was not gaining weight and hospitalized him. Actually during this time our son was gaining great weight. We made seveal attempts to show...

Yes it is a gay couple, but that was perfect!! and the sad part is that IS exactly how its worded. It was also a complaint that I did not pack appropriately..........LIKE I WAS SUPPOSED TO PACK HIS SUNDAY BEST. What do people usually pack when someone is kidnapping thier child? ( I did'nt pack extra...

We have been through 3 judges since this started. This one has not ever heard our case. This is after they already had a judgement saying it was an error ...This is to ...

Is this stuff legal?
Well as some of you know our son was in the care of foster parents for a few short days. We have just intersepted a letter from the foster parent to the judge hearing our case. Can a foster parent even do this? I have to say there were some strange things in his letter. One being we had an inestigat...

The comment by the officer really caught my eye.
http://www.wafb.com/Global/story.asp?S=4369178 Officer Avery Johnson, Walker Police, responded, "We will let them present whatever evidence that they can prove to show that this was a household accident. Yet, from what we have seen and from what we understand, we are going to let the doctors speak o...

Do you have any kind of visitation where you can just take him to a doctor on your own? If so then you get everything documented. Our son has cystic fibrosis, and a G-tube also, so we know about the care that a chronically ill child must receive. Just telling CPS about their poor treatment will not ...

Here is another idea. http://www.reminderband.com/faqs.php Those rubber band bracelets are really popular now. Our family started wearing the purple ones for Cystic Fibrosis. People even ask our kids about their bracelets and it gives them a chance to tell them about their little brother and cystic ...

I beleive adjudication is where they legally declare your child in need of care or your family in need of service. Then they can court order you to cooperate with them and take their services. We have actually been going through this process for the last 4 months. In our state the first adjudication...

I don't know if any of this would work but here are a few ideas. Most states follow your states civil code of procedures your state has them here http://leg1.state.va.us/cgi-bin/legp504.exe?000+cod+TOC0800100 You may also find something in here http://leg1.state.va.us/cgi-bin/legp504.exe?000+cod+TOC...
