Re: Is it possible?
I think that once it got to the final step (Supreme Court) they would not even LOOK at the case. I was irate. Well, there has to be a fairly compelling argument that civil rights have been denied by the courts, laws ignored, judgments contrary to case law, etc. for it to make it to the Supreme Cour...

Re: Is it possible?
No my case went to the Supreme Court back in 2005 I think was the year. I know it has been quite some time. I knew that they lied in court and felt that if maybe someone were to look into the file they would see that. I am not sure what was in the file because needless to say that no matter what wa...

Re: Child abuse registry?
Yea I am not moving out of the country. =) I am just curious because I am studying psychology and was going to do Child and Adolescent Development. I do not know if that would still be considered working with children so to speak because I would assume even as a psychologist the possibilities that ...

Re: Is it possible?
I would assume contacting him when he turns is a matter of choice. Once he is 18 there is not much they are able to do about a thing. I am speaking of the suing. Are there loop holes?

I think the reality of it is that you cannot continue to go through life with the thought that you did not do enough. Since I have lost my kids I sure have my up days and then I have my down days. Most down days tend to be close to holidays, close to their birthdays, and close to other things like ...

Re: letters
Well from day one my kids were separated. My daughters are with their fathers and in other states I might add. My boys are in the same general area. I know my son has a fb account and have seen that certain people that in no way make sense to have him added but do, so I know in the long run my son ...

Re: Child abuse registry?
Right now I am just wondering what to do for school. I am afraid that if I go to school for all that I have and get my degree I will not be able to use it based on that registry. My kids were adopted and it went up to the Supreme Court. Is the chance that I am on the registry possible? Do I ask som...

Re: Contact
My daughters are with their fathers. Even though my rights were terminated my daughter's stepmother said that I was able to call and talk to her or see if I was up that way. We have not been out there. I moved to the other side of the country and they have such limited times I can call that I am un...

Re: Child abuse registry?
"Found reason to believe"? What does that mean? I am sorry I am so out of things lately. I have not done any research or looked into things in so long that I have lost track of so much. So finding you guilty (even if you are not) does not place you on the registry?

Re: Is it possible?
Yea I just do not know if I would be able to do so. The emotions that come into it and the trouble that was caused. I have promised myself that no matter what I did I would never bring the courts into the lives of my children now. There is no way I want them to live that life. They do not deserve i...

Re: letters
I was told when the kids were first taken that there was a way to write letters to add to their file so that when they turned 18 they were able to get those. I want my kids to know that not one day goes by that I do not think of them or in some way wish that things were different. Sadly there was n...

Since I have been out of the loop for so long I do have another question for those on here that may know. What (if any) are the requirements on letter writing to children who were adopted?? Is there a way to do so? I know I heard in the past that you are able to write letters to your child that lat...

I wanted to emphasize for those who are dealing with CPS or have recently just lost their children the heartache never goes away but with each passing day it gets a little easier. Especially since each day is another day closer to seeing them again. I had to make sure I said that before I went into...

Re: Child abuse registry?
I only ask because a long time ago the CASA worker told me that I was able to apply for a job with kids because my name was not on the list. I also have friends who are and do work in a daycare and they never found my name either. I am not sure. How is it decided on whether your name appears on the...

Is it possible?
I know due to statute of limitations being able to sue those who wronged me is out of the question. Am I right? I know that someday I want to do something about all that happened. If I even began to tell you all that I know NOW after the stuff happened people would be shocked. Well maybe not so muc...

Here is a big question I am dying to know the answer to. As I am sure most of you know there is never one moment when we do not think of our children. I constantly find myself wondering what life would have been had they still been with me. I still try to imagine how life would currently be with tw...

Re: Child abuse registry?
Personally I do not want a thing to do with any of these individuals. Is there a way to obtain a copy of the registry without requesting it through the mail? Also, does each state have their own registry or is there an overall registry for the US?

Re: Hello
Yes although not the status update I am sure many were expecting. I am hopeful that someday my kids will come looking for me and when they do the goals that others have made to mess things up and pull us apart will no longer apply. My son was 6 when it began and 8 when my rights were terminated. He...

Re: Hello
Yes I go through the nightmare every day without them but there is not much I can do aside from inform them come the day they turn 18. I have made a change in my life not as if the life I led then was an awful one, but in the same sense I am no longer any of the things they spoke of in the past. I ...

Hello
Hello there! I am not really new but figured I would post in the newcomers for those who are not familiar with me. I am now 33 years old and have not seen or had a thing to do with my kids since 2004 (two of them) and 2007 (the other two). I used to be quite active and although I have not been here...

No, I am not aware of any court date. I was told by the Sheriff it was not for a show cause for not appearing in court, but that they said I was not paying support. I do not have money to pay them each month. We have issues as it is. Where am I going to get the money? They have also had over 2000 do...

I am not sure if anyone will know the answer to this question, and if so if it is the answer that I would like. I know I have gone on website after website and seen that child support (arrears) can be charged to someone even after their rights were terminated. Then I read something that said if righ...
