The case worker on our case is exactly like you. "head in the clouds". "oh I am so wanting to protect the kids" Blah blah blah! The case worker was bought off by the county and the state in our case and she is guilty guilty guilty! This whole system needs rearranging and by God I will do what I can ...

How does one define "filth"? They were packing up to move. The dishes were dirty, the boxes were all over the house. The carpet was dirty ( no vacuum). The kids had dirty diapers. The kids room had dirty dipaers on the floor. BUT, the thing is my daughter complied with all their "case plan". She got...

No they wish to adopt the older two as well.

And being it is a package deal, we have no hope with these judges to split the kids.

Baby goes, so do the other 2.

The warrant was not related to the children. It was for the father having alleged stolen property, which was proven in court in March 2006 to be false. At the time they executed the warrant they found the house to be filthy and the cop Believed the dad was under the influence of marijuana. Those are...

Too late for any of the above. That is why this case stinks and has stunk all along. They knew we wanted to adopt all 3 kids. In court in May the judge ruled we could not have party status to the baby. (we do with the older 2) The kids were not placed with us the second time ( we had them the first ...

Judge ruled illegal search does not matter

I did not know where to post this. The judge in my daughters case ruled that the ILLEGAL search the police did on their home in April 2003 did not matter when it came to protecting the children. The children were removed as a result of the search warrant. This warrant was later in March 2006 found t...

My daughter signed over her rights to the baby and gave them permission to have the fosters adopt her. This has made our case pretty much over with as far as the older 2 are concerned. She was promised "the world" if she signed the papers. And she did sign. My grandkids are going to have emotional p...

It is like any profession, there are bad ones and there are good ones.

Mostly though the cops are more apt to make decisions based on fact, where as we all know the social workers base decisions on what they "think". (and quotas and money)

It is a sad world.

Another Win for CPS

My daughter and her boyfriend lost their appeal to the state court of appeals. It is pathetic and in my mind criminal how they terminated her rights and his. Hers for choosing him as the father of the kids and having housing issues and his (he had no attorney, they violated his constitutional rights...

I lost the kids because of this respite care deal the social worker shoved down my daughters throat.

And NOW my daughter lost them also.

I will clarify what we are asking for. My daughter had reports but has lost them and wants new copies. There is also a report the GAL did that no one seems to have gotten, not even any of the attorneys (against CPS). This is a significant report so we want it. As far as I know it has never been put ...

the court adminitrator wants 5$ per page. And this case has gone on for 2 years.

We are not asking for court transcripts, we already have those.

We just want the case workers and gals reports.

Question re: getting case files

My daughter is trying to get all the files on her case. She was told she has to pay to get them. She is not in any position to pay the amount they are asking. and neither am I and I make good money. Do they HAVE to give these records for free? What statute can we cite? we are in Minnesota.

I have a few questions? Why did you not complete the plan? In Mn if you voluntarily terminate your rights to one child the next CAN be kept but then agian "they" just tell you that. It does not mean they will LET you keep that child. They like to play games! If it is involuntary they can get any kid...

a social worker want to extend visits? The social worker has asked us if we want more visits either longer or an extra day. This is the same worker that fought like heck to not have any visits only 1 and 1/2 months ago. Would the fact that the appeals court heard the appeal on the TPR only this past...
