Re: Social worker said "next time this happens" son goes to

Thank you let sitting dogs lie, that's the moral my new shrink haven't had one in years said that I was poking the bear. Poking at mean neighbors irking them on purpose I was. I won't talk to them ever again, ever per her suggestion, just a very strange way to live.

Social worker said "next time this happens" son goes to ex

Read my other posts for background if you will... to make a long story short. I bought a foreclosure house a year and a half ago. My boy then six and I moved in when it wasn't finished, we did our dishes in the bath tub at first and put in a heater, water heater, new ducts, new plumbing, new drywall...

Re: Could I really be charged?

The social worker said that "if this happens again" your son will go to your ex husband. What does if this happens again mean? She didn't make me do a case plan, nothing. She simply said don't drink or drink just 2-3 drinks at home, more only with another adult present or if my boy goes to...

Re: Alcohol evaluations

They said based on what I told them which is the truth that I don't need any classes or treatment. The counselor said she didn't feel I had a problem with alcohol. I admitted I drink 2-3 times a week and the night this happened I'd drank beer celebrating a good day of sales in my business which is t...

Re: Alcohol evaluations

No the caseworker said I didn't have to sign a plan, this is because the police came only cause I had music up. They made me sign a diversion deal or go to court and I chose this. So yes they said random u/a's and ba's and I asked and it's after this evaluation friday and if the center wants they ca...

Alcohol evaluations

You can read my thread Could I be Charged for background of what happened. Basically I was drinking one night and the cops came cause neighbors said my music was too loud. I was told that it's ok to drink at home with a child, I never drive, I never go to bars, I do drink at home but have cut back n...

Re: Could I really be charged?

And how can vindictive neighbors take out their hate torwards me on a child or a dog? I mean come on... they know none of this has to do with the welfare of my son, nothing. Cops know it. Social services knows it. Building department knows it. Do I have to move in the long run, everyone tell me the ...

Re: Could I really be charged?

Ive never been on the charged side of all of this. Not sure I have faith in the criminal justice system, the cop lied in the report, I reread it. They've lied in other reports too to build a so called case against me. They knew the neighbors were lying, the higher ups at the PD but the cops on the s...

Re: Could I really be charged?

It's over, I explained to diversion program about neighbors and the history of all of this. They said i'd just have to pay $50 to a charity and do a quick parenting class. And do an alcohol evaluation which I can pass. I signed the papers and it'll clear the slate and I won't be charged. As for the ...

Re: Could I really be charged?

I am going to meet with an attorney today, he said they could throw this out because of lack of evidence. They didn't arrest me and shouldn't have made me do the blood alcohol tests, that might be thrown out. He said he could call DA and try to drop it. I'm waiting on police reports from the DA's of...

Re: Could I really be charged?

My house isn't rentable right now... I'd have to finish working on it. I haven't done anything but drink at my own house, I don't drive I don't go to bars nothing. An attorney said to just wait the DA said he'd drop it all. Now he's saying he won't they could be bluffing.

Re: Could I really be charged?

Is the system so bad I have to leave for nothing? I don't feel I did anything wrong, I'm remorseful I drank that night but I was at home I wasn't passed out I could walk a straight line etc.

Re: Could I really be charged?

My house wasn't that messy, they said I had a few days of dirty dishes in the sink, my personal room had clothes on the floor, there were boxes I'm moving around as I fix the foreclosure I bought, stacks of clothes to be washed in the laundry room. There was plenty of food for my boy and I. His play...

Re: Could I really be charged?

Does anyone know how the DA/Court works should I get charged? Would I be served with papers by a police officer that would come to my house or what? Would there be a pretrial?

Can they use the videos neighbors took of me in court even if they are months ago and without my permission?

Re: Could I really be charged?

If it's the DA is it a family court judge then with the county? If I moved would I just leave the neighborhood or the county? The neighbor has been saying her goal is to run me out of the neighborhood, I'd give her the satisfaction if I moved. It's a foreclosure I bought, I have to finish it to move...

Re: Could I really be charged?

It's just not fair, even a lady cop said it would give them satisfaction if I move. Cops know it, building dept knows it. Everyone in the area knows these women are out to get me. Maybe I'll fight it with a good attorney and show them. Amazing thing is social worker told them to leave me alone, the ...

Re: Could I really be charged?

Even the social worker said I should move. I ran into the ex police chief of this town and he said its' tat for tat and one neighbor is bad enough but two, he'd move. He said they'll never change they'll never stop. It's scary. Social worker and cops know it's insane. But system is what it is.

Re: Could I really be charged?

If Social Services closed the case is it really closed? The social worker seemed nice and her report wasn't that bad but she said I need to do everything they say... I wonder if she recommended this program from the start. So they act all nice then do whatever? How can Social Services decide not to ...

Could I really be charged?

Long story... a year and a half ago I bought a foreclosure. The people across the street acted crazy and had a strange son who'd been kicked out of schools by second grade and was a trouble maker. I started limiting my boy's time with him who's a year younger. The dad got mad and brought out a camer...
