The hearing was an admit and deny hearing and the judge just asked if i wanted a court appointed attorney. it lasted for about 2 minutes.
i go again on the 19th.
There are no charges or complaints against me but, doesn't that mean they have no lawful reason to keep him from me?

At what point, do i file each document.

My sister's son actually does live with her it's just that DHS has custody of him.

Oregon is where I live. Yes they are aware of my 16 year old living with me. Someone said to me "if there is no charges against you, you demand the release of the child..." I have a safe, clean place for him to stay, with me, and the caseworker will not approve it. I will fight like hell ,...
