Re: 3 CPS investigators on 3rd day of elementary school
If those 3 investigators were at the school working more than your family's case on the same day, then the telephone reports were probably a complete CPS fiction. CPS caseworkers know that since you will never be able to force them to tell you who turned in the crank calls, they can simply fabricate...

Re: CRAZY FAMILY MEMBERS AND SUPPORTIVE CPS
Make nice with the GAL and children's attorney? In our case the GAL was a complete stooge for CPS and told outright LIES verbally in court. The kid wanted to come home so they would NOT allow the child to have an attorney to express her wishes. The GAL ignored the childs wishes to come home because ...

Re: Fifteen months no contact & no response from DHS
I'm in Linn County Iowa, Cedar Rapids. Another family had a situation where their kids were in foster care in a next door county. One of them got a job in that same county and they notified the agency and court that they wanted to move to that neighboring county. When DHS went to move the case to th...

Re: My sons passing
I once called to talk to our caseworker and the receptionist said that all of the caseworkers went to a SIDS death. I've since learned a bit more about SIDS or "cot death" as the Brits call it. Herr Doktor Professor Sir Roy Meadows of the UK is more famous for promoting Munchausens By Prox...

Iowa "Juvenile Courts" actually have a "hearsay exception"
to the rules of evidence used in other types of court in Iowa.

What's WRONG with this advice from a qualified lawyer?
http://www.lawtolife.com/CM/Features/CPSCASE.asp#15 No Time to Lose: The CPS Case 1. A CPS worker has called me and wants to meet with me to talk about my children. What do I do? You need to cooperate. If you don't cooperate, CPS will infer that you are attempting to hide something. Try to get some ...

This is another example of just how LOUSY many Family law attorneys are! Your attorney owes you VIGOROUS REPRESENTATION. That does NOT include throwing away your 4th amendment rights against unreasonable search and seizure. For your attorney to PARTICIPATE in a search of your home without a warrant ...

If, Instead of posting the videos on your own account, you send them to Family Rights groups and friends to post on THEIR Youtube accounts, so that the video is backed up in five different places, it would be harder to get them all yanked. There are LOTS of different sites that let people download Y...

Who reported to CPS? How the heck is a parent supposed to notice a half pound of weight loss in one day? What's the kid's total weight and do they have problems with digestion or absorbing nutrients from food? Usually when I read one of these kinds of stories the agency is full of crap, like guessin...

What state doesn't allow parents to video tape a caseworker visit to their home? I would assert that I have a right to record anything that takes place inside of my home. The devil from our case walked smack into a street sign because he was rubber necking at me so much. It was quite loud. I laughed and swore at him but just kept walking. You asked the right question, his answer was terrible. It was a violation of your privacy at a vulnerable moment. In cases of SIDS death/Cot death the caseworkers get right in parents' faces eager to catch moments of self blame, while they are vulnerable and not thinking too clearly. It's more than ...
