If you have a perscription and your Doctor can say you take it as perscribed, nothing can be done t you Two types of screens: 5 panel and 10 panel. 5 panel for example won't show Valium 10 panel does. You are supposed to get a call from th medical review officer to ask if you have a perscription and...

Please make no mistake. This is not about religion or religious freedom. it is about sytematic, ritualistic abuse perpetrated by adults on minors. it is a fact that in "third world" countries, female genital mutlation is widely practiced for "cultural and religious" reasons. it is also a fact that i...

Truth is, sadly, you may never feel "safe" again, not to be discouraging. Also, once a long term removal has been affected and custody returned, don;t let anyone kid you...youre still on "the list". Unoffical perhpas, but I can also assure you, it is much easier to take the kids a second time. You d...

Texas has put in an all points bulletin now for foster homes to take "up to six children". If this isn't a open door for REAL abuse to come, I don't know what is..they plan to ship these kids all over the state. Today the mopthers were told they could not stay with thier childrne under 5, but must g...

Unless there is a court order, they whatever they say is "correct". A safety plan is the first step in building a case to take the kids. You signed it and though it "expired", unless you get an attorney, you are literally at thier mercy. Without knowing further about your case, as unfair as it seems...

November 4th, 2006 my wife and I agreed to "help" from the "Department of Satanic Services" (better known as DSS) in the guise of intensive family preservation to assist my new wife and I while transitiong her into a home where I had custody of my two step duaghters (their mother, my previous wife o...

lizbeth, I encourage and applaud your letter writing. creating a paper trail is a GOOD thing. In my own case, I used e-mail. It got so that DSS actually blocked my ISP! At any rate, I do not think you can file anything through the clerk (that the Judge would read) if you do so without going through ...

I've given some more thought to this case. Unless I am wrong, 416 kids is some sort of world record for removal. Also, from what I understand, this took place in a relatively small, rural county. My tally shows 416 kids, and i think 183 adult (mothers) females are currently "residing" outside the wa...

mrsmac, they will likley have to charge the adult mothers with neglect for allowing it in order to place the kids in foster care. Then they will have to prove it in court. You know the drill: they allege abuse against the fathers, the blame the mothers for not stopping it. There are a potential 401-...

Elizabeth, this is a well written letter. Did you actually send it? If you still have an attorney however, I don't think the sitting Judge can actually take it under consideration, unless CA has some exclusion to established Civil Court proceedings. You can ask for another attorney, but the Court do...

In my opinion, these polugamist cases seem very much like the day care debacles on the 80's and 90's. The whole raid was based (from what I hear) on an anonymous call from a girl who cliamed to be beaten, pregnant and forced to have sex with a 50 year old yet............ they cannot find her. 401 ki...

You are essentially seeking termination of parental rights and full adoption, if you want it to be permanent and have CPS out of the picture. In order to do this BOTH parents have to be terminated. Here is the scale: Biological parent's custody adoption- again, a legally secure position, either volu...

My experience is that a third party resource is best. United Way does this stuff...and for the most part, they are unafilliated with CPS. Service providers on the Medicaid dole are about as bad as CPS-run classes. I dont think a court can specifically tell you (if you make an issue of it) you have t...

Frank: A plea of no contest is is essentially the same as an admission of guilt in court. You don't say if this attorney is court appointed or not. I am betting he or she is... If you are the perp, then that means your GF is alledged guilty by "allowing it"- or at least that is the way it usual goes...

The pattern is that allegations of sexual abuse from a minor are considered true until proven false. All kids were taken because it is also "assumed" that you failed to protect them. They way it works is the alleged abuser is charged either criminally or in civil court (by CPS), and the Police have ...

I've read both your posts. First about your son. The Police are correct in that a kid generally does NOT disclose something like that to a parent of their own free will, especially by text message. Depending on how old he is, the physical act may or may NOT have been by his consent. This also depend...

Generally speaking, a letter (and not a court order) ends the involvement and the "investigation". In other words, here is how it usually works: teachers and medical staff account for 75% of all "anonymous" calls to CPS. CPS really has no choice but to "investigate". THEY INSTANTLY DEVELOP A "CASE",...
