From what I understand, you need to sue ALL the people that were involved in the whole situation. Everyone that contributed should be named as a defendant, individually and as a whole. How long ago did this happen? It's amazing to me that they said that your son would be the first to be allergic to ...

Echoing the others here, I am happy to hear that she is in jail. At least SHE will never knock on your door again.

I think it is interesting to see from the article that the police were involved, but that there was no mention of CPS.

In Wisconsin, there are 2 levels of court appointed lawyers. The first is free of charge. The second is a set amount discussed in one of the first hearings, when an attorney was requested/Indigency Hearing. For example (I help with translating Spanish where the court appointed interpreters leave off...

I'm sorry to be blunt, but that card is only as good as the child that possesses it is strong minded. I don't know if it can be used later that the social worker ignored it, but being as he cooperated, I doubt it. I am, as previously stated elsewhere in this site, anti-lawyer. But that is because I ...

I have found that even though I want to help on this site that my main problem is that I have what is considered non-mainstream forms of fighting back. And those with a lawyer makes that style unavailable. So any advice I give is always tainted with my true beliefs. So, having never actually worked ...

If I understand correctly, the case is still open. Since momoffor touched on the closed case scenario, I will attempt to convey my understanding of an open case... Actually my daughter got her phone back on the following Monday, on Tuesday he asked why she didn't pick it up the Friday it was taken. But, right now that is really the least of my concerns. My daughter was raped on Sunday morning. I found out on Monday. My speech yesterday was really me reminding ...

Thank you for your answers. As I guessed, I would get some good feedback with valid points. True there needs to be rules at school, as there are rules at work. If you don't like the rules, you can change schools or change jobs. If you continually break the rules, you can be ultimately expelled or fi...

IMO, you are right. the teacher shouldn't have asked such questions out of the blue. The only way that I see any of those questions being okay is if your niece initiated the topic, or your niece had a sudden and drastic decline in the quality of her work that started directly after her father left p...

School related question-

I have been reading this board for a while and this is the first place I could think of to come to for this non CPS related question. (If that makes sense.) Anyway, my question pertains to the "no cell phones rule at school" statute adopted by many states and schools. What is your opinion? The reaso...

I got this off: http://www.divorcenet.com/states/tennessee/tn_faq07 If the primary residential parent wants to move out of state with the child, will this be permitted? Yes, if the move is not motivated by vindictiveness and is in the best interest of the child. Timely notice, however, must be given...

What might have happened is that one worker came out on Friday when the kids were at your house, and you spoke with another today. Or, they could very well have offered him the ability to keep the kids for additional "dirt" about you. I know that they spoke to my ex-huband (the first one), and tried...

Interesting Read: http://www.census.gov/prod/2002pubs/p70-86.pdf There are around 39,000 children under the age of 5  ; 28,276,000 children from 5-11; and 12,348,000 children from 12-14 that are in self care. I have a question. You stated that your 15 year old was in foster care against her will. Did she get to testify on your behalf, as a witness? Adding to what the others said, do you live in the same county as the place where the case is? Does your grandfather?
