this evaluation that is disturbing to the caseworker, you need to get a copy of it. you will have to get a discovery motion, but it will be well worth it. she is probably blowing smoke up your butt. IMHO, you need to go in front of the judge, you need to rock thier boat. if you do not go in front of...

my children have had a pyschosexual exam, it is a bunch of croc. i like you told my kids, speak up when asked a question and be honest. so then they accused me of "coaching". i was pissed and after months of all therapist and pyschologist telling the agency that i do not need parenting classes, ther...

i have talked to my caseworker about this becuase my plan said it also. when i questioned her on it she changed to it read if we move or go out of town. no judge will enforce you leaving the house and calling them. they would get so upset if you called and said we are walking out the door to go to t...

i will tell you this, if i were you, i would still appeal. only a judge can reopen an investigation, if it is closed it is closed. well that is how it is in georgia. i would keep on fighting it esp. if i felt as strong about it as you do. that is just my opinion.

you are in a catch22. if you dont drop it, you could loss your girls, if you do you could get them back. it is a tough choice. the thought i have here is, no matter if you drop it now or not, if they get a call in the future, they will use it against you. they use substaniated/unsubstaniated against...

i am not familar with the laws of wv, but that doesnt sound right. basically if you agree,(i am just thinking and this doesnt mean much), that you will be admitting guilt and voluntarily placing your children in care. the ajudicatory hearing is the part where the determine if there is sufficient rea...

i dont understand that. how can a child make this decision? how can an agency ask a child to make a life decision like that? how can they ask about adoption, when your rights have not been terminated? this sounds really fishy. i would try to find out what is going on.

have you made this offer in court to the judge? what was the finding of your case, substaniated, unsubstaniate? sometimes the only way to find this answer is to goto the state office. they have what they call policy "specialist", these people are suppose to know the cps policy and are able to look a...

a family meeting is just that, a family meeting. that means you can bring your family or friends. you can bring your support system. according to my attorney, most of these meetings are way for cps to convince your family that you are an abuser. alot of these meeting end in confrutation or they dont...

as members of this forum we have all been accused of so many different things. the only crime we are truly guilty of is being human. cps would like to take the human factor out of parenting, but then where does that leave everyone. they put these text book standards on raising children, did your chi...

we are taught as a society that if we suspect abuse we should report it. that being said, what your daughter did was right if she felt it is what she had to do. unless you have dealt with the system you never know how it can turn on you. based on what you have said, i do not think you have much to w...

I am having a meeting with my caseworker and my new caseworker on friday. i would think past is past, but why use everyone else's past against me. lets concentrate on my past, my husband's past, not my sister's and her husband's and steve's exwife. i am being punished for guilt by association, i did...

IMO, suing a caseworker will not solve anything. most of them only have a short term job expectancy, so after this goes, it will be replaced by two more. it reminds me of greek methology, you know you cut off the head of the beast and two more grow back, inorder to kill it you had to burn the head o...

yes, they call it use of past history. i was raped by a cousin when i was 17, so therefore they say it is high risk that my kids will be sexual abused. so, basically they are saying a parent who is sexually abused is more like to "let it" happen to their children. you let someone mess with my childr...
