Texas is horrible. Much scandal there with all the child deaths now, on a national scale, perfect model for disaster.

Re: I'm a mom, not a monster. I need advice and guidance.
Well, the good news is that the baby is with family instead of the foster care system. Many times relatives are ruled out for care by social workers, just so the state can exploit the child via the funded foster and adoption industry. What are your allegations? If you have agreed to a case plan, mos...

Well, know that you are not alone. I hope it comforts you to know that there are thousands and thousands of victims in one of the various stages of the trauma cps imposes on families and children. I am glad you're here.

Re: I do not know what to do!
Have your parents petitioned the court for custody yet and are they involved in the case, speaking with the ss worker? I'm glad your children are at least with family. You mentioned you won custody of children from ex over abuse to you? Was it to any of the children too? Have you ever had cps case b...

Do you have a case plan of things to do like go to parenting classes, drug testing, etc.? Has a social worker asked you for a list o...

Re: New to Group--Grandma forced to be Foster Care
Much depends on what state you're in so if you could tell us, that would help a bit. CPS removes children from whoever has legal custody, even if they live at your home. It is nice you are taking the children on, do you have them in your home yet? My advice is try to get them into your home as quick...

Depends on your state how long you have to sue and who/what you're suing too. Who/what are you looking to sue? Start with this link: http://fightcps.com/2010/12/03/how-to-sue-cps-in-federal-court/

I think you need to find a lawyer....a civil rights lawyer. Camretta v Greene was a big case and set law. I think you have a lot of money coming your way. Here's one I found who is also in a lawyer group I know of that is fighting cps, especially with winning lawsuits: Del Hardy 96 Winter Street, Re...

Re: How to find Expert Witness AMBP Specialty ABUSE
I think you need to look up winning lawsuits or lawsuits against cps in your area, Arizona. Within those lawsuits, some may be civil rights lawsuits, you'll find pediatricians with credentials that can review records and submit medical opinions. Your story is horrifying, i hope you get a restraining...

Re: False allegations by my neighbor
Video tape your home in case they drop by to violate your civil rights....which they do sometimes. Also know that while under investigation, I don't believe the investigator is immune to anything they do. They only have immunity when they "open" a case on you. Also see a civil rights lawye...

Um, i have children the same ages and California DCFS told me the age that I could leave them alone was 12, so they may have that policy or at the very least be careful about it, it may be one of the issues they will follow up on if they can. It sounds like you will be getting a letter that closes o...

Re: No investigation prior to arrest & removal of Child
Well, I'm pretty sure none of us are lawyers here that can give you that type of advice... Everything that you mentioned depends on the state you're in. It is good that the criminal charges are dropped, so you only have to deal with cps form of civil court. Depending on state, an emergency hearing w...

CPS is exclusively in the most uncivilized countries in the world.
That is just an opinion. If you can find a country that doesn't have it, you'll probably find peace.

Did they tell you of the specific allegations? Also, I think they target children with disabilities, create a history, no matter that they are unfounded. At a certain point, after so many "referrals", they will justify removing the child. You might also want to know about civil lawsuits an...

It also may depend on the state. In California, for example, at the Disposition Hearing, the Standard of Proof is raised to "clear and convincing" evidence. See here, in case you are in California: http://www2.courtinfo.ca.gov/protem/pubs/bg102.pdf
