Re: court continued....AGAIN...But I SPOKE!
They don't want a trial. But they don't want to let go either. They want mom and dad to fight, so they don't have to deal with it. But what if I win? What if we get 50/50? I objected, said I'm ready for trial. But.....continued.

Re: court continued....AGAIN...But I SPOKE!
"We're not willing to release this child to her mother, your honor, their civil modification has to be ruled on first so we can make a decision. We'll continue, so they can battle first. We're confident mr. Xxxxxxx will win full custody, in which case, we'll simply withdraw, not burdening the c...

Re: neglect for accessing medical care that is not necessary
You're right for being upset. Its the beginning of the CPS web. Fight hard now, not later. Every day you don't OBJECT on PAPER, is a day whatever they dream up becomes "fact".

court continued....AGAIN...But I SPOKE!
Thought I was gonna pass out, and got several huffs&puffs, giggles, and eye rolls, but I SPOKE. Surprising how little the judge knows about the case. And he was amused by my meek attempts saying "your honor, I object". But he listened. And continued until May, child support, ...july, c...

Re: Why do they even come here now?
Teenagers are hard to figure out. Look what she's been through. And teens alway grow into young adults. They realize their feelings as a teen were misguided. Thank goodness for some normalcy in her voice. And I'm sorry it feels so horrible. By tomorrow she'll miss you again. I hope she calls back. S...

Re: kicked outta the courthouse
But its my DAUGHTER were talking about, so I continue for HER. On the subject of defending ME from these tyrants and fighting for custody, my lawyer is aggressive, all for it. So, no, he didn't want me to file. At least not the specific papers I tried to. He's not mad, just doesn't think it'll work.

Re: kicked outta the courthouse
Linda, No, no proof, unless they maybe run film inside the courthouse . When I left, I kicked myself for not having my recorder with me. I tape all conversations these days. But I didn't think a CLERK would need recorded. Ugh!!!! My lawyer is split. Subject one, sex abuse, he doesn't want me pursuin...

Re: kicked outta the courthouse
Yes, spoken with her before. She dropped criminal charges on my ex, but she explained her guidelines and she did her job. She has to drop any case where she isn't given clear and convincing proof . Because police and cps botched it up so bad, well, she doesn't have enough to hold charges. Course, I'...

Re: holy shiat!! showtime.
The motions are a conglomeration of several things. Mostly asking the "judge" to force me to pay my part, my ex's part, and cps part of everything. ie; GAL fees, shrink fees, ex's lawyer fees, court fees, and my ex's child support . Omg.....I think not.

Re: holy shiat!! showtime.
After a frantic afternoon with my lawyer , to figure out what's going on, ugh.... it seems my ex's attorney , the CPS attorney, the juvenile office prosecutor, and the GAL are teaming up. SHOCKER! DUH!! Sometimes my lawyer makes me shake ny head. Lol. So, it's 5 motions, with 2 additional court date...

Re: kicked outta the courthouse
Lafayette County, lawyer doesn't know, advised me earlier that I'd get better results going with them rather than against them where sex abuse is conseened, reason by clerk was "you just can't , its a juvenile case", haven't grievanced to anyone.

kicked outta the courthouse
Went to file my declaration/affidavits. Told I can't . Asked to show them law saying I can. Was escorted out. Never even got snippy, until on my way out. This country is f*cked.

preparing declaration...again.
Trying again, this time after a year of living, breathing, studying, the CPS "rules". Every night, without exception, I've spent hours reading case law, Missouri juvenile court regs, federal statutes, and most importantly, reading literally 1,000 stories of others. Spending this Mothers da...

Re: Why do they even come here now?
Your case has gotten so confusing. Refresh my memory. She was taken from you, sent to foster, then sent to her dad, right? Explain what cps/court remains. Seems like you shouldn't have any "requirements " anymore. So, I'd blow off all the "therapy" , ya can get better therapy her...

Re: custody modification case continued, juvenile cps case g
Not the final permanency hearing. They'll continue that once we get there. Such crap. Praying the judges patience is tried, because every hearing so far has been continued because of cps. They have zero on either parent, and admit that. They give reasons for changing custody , that I can easily debu...

custody modification case continued, juvenile cps case goes
So, they set our civil, family court, custody modification case, and our state, cps, juvenile court case, for the same day. Same time. Same courtroom. Same judge. They made it clear, that since they're required to release custody to whom they took it, me, that the civil modification will have to go ...
