Re: Grandparents Summonsed?
In some States Grandparents have rights. Check the Laws for your STate. I wasted my money on an Attorney, but the Judge wasn't going to allow motions to be filed anyway. I hope & pray this will work out for you.

Re: Introduction
I agree they are lowest of the lowest. I just read a book by Wayne Theodore A Abused Childs Story of Courage, Survival & Hope. The Child Protective Services arrested the Mother & Father for the severe abuses to their Children, and they were sent to jail. The kids were returned when they were...

Did the petition sitpulate you as the abuser or neglect? Depending on the circumstances, the procecutaor on your side, can't ever be too trusting. When my Grandson was removed from our home the Case Worker said they want my daughter to move out and leave my Grandson us while she works a Case Plan. O...

I am not sure of the Law in your State, but keep going to see your grandchild as much as they will allow. It may take some time seeking an Attorney, make sure you get references and write down your questions before you speak with them. In my case I hired an Attorney who sounded like she knew the Law...

I loved your Blog. I didn't have time to read everything & saved it as a favorite. Is there a chance you can be reunited? I too have been in situation with the CPS and the Judical System and scarred for life. It's unbeliveable the power they have and able to get away. You are in my Prayers

Re: CASA workers - How to negotiate with them
Our CASA worker came to our home, visited briefly with us and about an hour with our grandson. She believed he was where he needed to remain. After talking with our Attorney and reading the petitions she said she smelled a rat and would see us in court. She felt he needed to remain in the home, or a...

Re: desperate, broken and devestated and i need to act fast
Be careful if you decide to hire an Attorney. Make sure they are from a different County and willing to fight for you. In my case it was very obvious that CPS gets what they want unless you have the right Attorney. The Judge takes their side. I do believe at the very least you should go ASAP to have...

Re: Grandparents wants visitation
In my case my daughter was not doing exactly what CPS asked of her, or they would change the case plan. We had a mandate drawn up & notarized so that we were able to provide care for him. The other Grandparents were calling in with False Accusations and getting friends to call. At the end in Cou...

Kerb86 - I was personally attacked by Child Protective Services with False accusations such as Visits that never happened, false accusations. It had ruined my life. I was shocked at the lies the Case Worker made up about my family and it was effident that the Judge was on their side. They decided an...

I wonder if the Statue of Limitations is different if you enter into a National Class Action. The key is finding a Lawyer willing to Fight for Justice

Re: Is CPS going to take the kids?
Unbeliveable, this Agency has so much power and needs to be done away with. With all the proof you had why didn't they just close the case. Everyone can make a mistake, but own up to it. Ofcourse this is an Agency that likes easy targets and nothing to do with the welfare of our Children. We hear ab...

Re: why cant i see Cps reports?
I'm surprised that it was reported your child was rapped and the police were not involved & charges pressed against your ex? Surely there's a rape kit procedure which would have DNA or something and I agree with you as to questioning why they didn't go test your ex? This is crazy. Your ex had 3 ...

Re: Grandson removed from our home - we were railroaded by O
Thank you for your replies. I feel like most people reading my story do not believe me. Really, who would? That is why CPS gets away with their false accusations. People do not understand how powerful they are and they fabricate lies or twist everything to suit their case. What their getting away wi...

Re: Too much fear and they win big
I agree there is too much fear of CPS and rightfully so. The Courts, I believe work with CPS and in my case go the extreme to get their way. After almost (2) years I'm still looking for a good Attorney to represent me. I will not give up the good fight. It seems once CPS has it out for you there's n...

Start to Keep a journal of EVERYTHING, visits, proof of times, dates, etc. We are grandparents that were helping raise our grandson, daughther got prescribed pain pills after an accident, got hooked, which left my husband & I to raise him. We had a notorized mandate drawn up and the other grandp...

I'm looking for an Attorney in Louisiana that has experience with and willing to Sue CPS for the false accusations against me. The Judge I believe was in on this too. If you have names please post them. I have been searching for almost 2 years, unsuccessful in either finding a good Attorney or one w...

I'm confused too, our grandson who lived with us until he was 4 1/2 years was removed from our home due to my daughters drug problem. On the last reported incident (did not involve my grandson) she was given a case plan and tried, but did not follow through. The father also has drug issues. If CPS w...

It sounds like you are on your guard, but I can't stress enought to reinforce this. The workers will be nice to you just to get information so they can twist it to use against you. They can not be trusted. I hope you get a LAWYER soon. Write down the questions you have for your Lawyer and get as muc...

In my experience, look for a Good Lawyer - Make sure you do your homework. I had after the fact found out my Attorney was not experienced even though our interview went well and she came recommend by a co-worker. After Court my co-worker felt so bad, she thought the Attorney was good. Write down the...

Re: We made CPS look like idiots in court !!
Good advice. I wish I would have been aware of the horror CPS can do. I submitted willing to two drug screens for OCS. They both were clean, but one of them dliuted. They said I cheated on. The Judge was ofcourse on OCS side aong with FAlSE ACCUSATIONS. I knew OCS was going to bring up the diluted d...

I am not sure - were the foster parents given perm custody? If so, does that still give her legal custody? In my experience it may be best to find an Attorney who specializes in these type of cases. Check references. Most will speak with you the first time for free. I am still looking for a good Att...
