Waiting for their next move.....
Since the meeting that took place between my husband's attorney and cps last week, we have not heard anything. I have noticed since my husbands attorney spoke to the cps superviosor, the harassing phone calls stopped, which was a couple of weeks ago. Tomorrow will be day 45 since all of this started...

CPS tried to be sneaky/Was told off by one of the kids
The caseworker, and his supervisor did attend the meeting that was set up....and they continued to be difficult. They told the attorney that they still did not wish to disclose any information with her about the case, they also let her know that they do have plans to turn their findings into the DA ...

More questions about cps hiding
If I contact either the caseworker, or his supervisor, and ask about their findings, are they required to tell me by law? If the caseworker is being investigated for any sort of unethical practices, would I be out of line to ask? Would they be required to tell me just that much if I do? Bascially, j...

Why are they hiding?
Today my husband's attorney called and said that the supervisor to the case worker called and stated that he may not be able to make it to the meeting that was set up for tomorrow to discuss the case, and also a timeframe on when they will conclude their investigation. The detective called and state...

Interesting Info
I did not know that the order could not carry over state lines. Either way, I think it would be best for my husband to stay there until this is all taken care of. Whether or not I will stay here or go back when all this is done, I do not know. I'm very upset with the system over there right now, tha...

Husbands attorney ready to attack
My husband called with some good news from his attorney (or at least its the best I've heard in a while). She called the supervisor to Mr. Caseworker to let him know how unprofessional, and wrong the handling of this case has been. Though he's contacted me numerous times, and this has been going on ...

Nothing has gone to court
Right now we are still in the investigation phase. Nothing has gone to court yet. Whether or not the DA will pick up the case, we have not heard anything yet. I plan to ask the caseworker these things via email, so that if he does respond and he contiues with his misconduct, I have a hard copy of it...

Great advice
I had no clue that enrolling the kids into school took any of his power away. Even if I chose to go back home (and there is a possiblity that I won't just because the schools here are better), transfering them is only a fax number away. So I was real confused as to why he got so upset about me makin...

Thank You Debbie
Since the rules to vary from state to state, I called my husband and told him to get a book of rights and responsibilities there. That was very usful advice.....thank you. Do you happen to know if the web sites that you suggested is where I would find what the "proper" procedure and conduct cps is s...

Answer for Kenneth
In my last posting I forgot to mention the answer to my question about how Mr. Caseworker found out I was on a one year leave of absence, He called my job. And someone there told him, I've already reported it to my superviors as this is a violation of our policy. He did make two attempts to discuss ...

Thank you Gooddaddy
I appreciate your opinion and advice. Another person advised the same opinion as well. I will apply this, as I am tired of talking to them on the phone. This has been going on for a month now, and they have called me many times, but they have not contacted my husbands attorney once. Till I obtain le...

Thank You So Much Ken
Your reply to my posting gave me a lot of piece of mind. I will take your advice and just email the caseworker. I really had talking to him, because I feel like he is bagering me, and he is very rude. According to the caseworker here, he told her that I am not keeping the communications lines with h...

Thank You
Thank you for the advice. I could understand, or even respect that this is suppose to be standard procedure....but should they have informed me from the start that I was included in the investigaiton? They've been making it seem like their case was fairly one sided.

Can they do that?
The caseworker in this state that has been guiding me, spoke with the cps woker in the other state because of the harassment I was taking. She called me and said that my husband is under investigation for the abuse, but that I am under investigation for neglect. In the many meetings and conversation...

They just won't give up
They are harassing me again. CPS called again today. They keep trying to put words into my mouth, and get me to say things that are not true. After accusations were made against my current husband, I left the state to stay with my parents because of loss of household income. I had no choice. Rent, a...

This is mainly to kenneth2816. Thank you for your kind words. I left the state because of loss of income, but my husband stayed behind, which he will continue to do until this is resolved. I did sign the safety plan that they presented to me, but at the time, my whole world was spinning around, and ...

They are harassing me
My current husband was forced by cps to leave our home after allegations were made that he was abusing my kids from my first marriage. CPS cannot tell you who made the report, but I have every reason to believe that it was my ex-husband (again). Especailly since they mentioned that they went to his ...
