In Texas

In Texas unless your rights have been terminated by court action then you have access to all medical records. CPS only has TMC of your child.

But this is in Texas.

TMC = Temporary Manageiing Conservatorship

FBSS is a program paid for with Federal Money

The actual rules and procedures are set by the state and or local office. It depends on what state you are in.

Generally you have to agree to FBSS services. Unles there are sufficient grounds for Court Ordered Participation.

It depends on your specifics and the local office.

CPS and Juv. Legal System in Texas

The Texas Jov Legal and System and CPS do not even operate under the same set of laws. CPS is Texas Family Code and Juv nis Texas Criminal Code.

Juv and CPS almost never cooperate in any cases. JUV usually is trying to get CPS to take their problem cases that they cannot send to TYC.
