I don't want your help. I was just testing you. Lets just call a truce and leave each other alone from now on, ok? I wont comment on ANY of your posts anymore.

. Even if they were able to prove they didn't maltreat their child, CPS would say the parent did nothing to demonstrate they are a good parent. Best, Dan [/quote] Why would I have to prove anything to anyone, if I havent done any thing wrong and they can not prove I have done anything wrong? Who ha...

RKeyser, I think the point Dan was trying to make was that educating yourself is always a plus. It does not mean that you are admitting guilt or admitting bad parenting skills. . Nowadays, submitting yourself to these "services" is the next best thing to admitting guilt in the eyes of the court and...

Re: The children come first. The goal is reunification.
I agree taking parenting classes would be a good idea IF and ONLY if you think your parenting skills arent good enough. Don't you think someone who takes a driving course (who hasn't got a ticket in 25 years) to get a discount on their car insurance is reminded of things they knew about driving but...

HE WHO FIGHTS AND RUNS AWAY WILL LIVE TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY.
I don't want to get into point by point arguments with anyone on this forum any more. If anyone want my advice or help I'll be there for them. So this is my position on the CPS issue, then after this I shut my mouth. God knows we all make mistakes and bad dicisions, if so I would suggest that you ow...

Re: The children come first. The goal is reunification.
Taking a parenting class implies someone is trying to be a better parent. I think not taking a parenting class implies the parent believes their skills couldn't be improved. And I think a Judge is going to assume every parent's skills could use improvement... and further there had to be a valid rea...

Re: The children come first. The goal is reunification.
If you lost your children to fostercare and you did nothing wrong - get passed your anger - don't admit to anything you didn't do no matter what CPS says - prove that the report was false<THE PROSECUTING ATTOURNEY HAS BURDON OF PROOF/ - prove that the evidence against you isn't credible - and demon...

Re: What to do...
That's what I'd do if it ever happened to me again, Bob. My strategy would be to go to the media with reports constantly, protest in front of the CPS building daily, and let everyone within the nearest ten counties (or more) know what was going on. I'd be the biggest b*tch they ever met. I'd give i...

By law CPS must also abide by the Constitution and all federal and state laws. When do they ever do that? So 30-60-90-120-10,000 days, whatever, means nothing to CPS. The reason CPS can take whatever time they want for an investigation rather than the time specified in the law is because a family a...

Only cause they have more guns and money.
This is a letter I wrote to the hospita where my son was born. I pretty much got a go f-u from then as a reply. My Fiancé and I had our first child born at your paternity and newborn care center. We did a lot of research before our son was born to choose a hospital that had a good rating and was rec...

That definitely takes all of her time. I could not believe how much time it took for us to do parenting classes and homework from those classes. From the way parents post here and what little we have seen it is hard for the parents to keep full or even part time jobs. Yup, I lost two very well payi...

Re: Angel In Abandoned in DFCS care by non-custodial father.
I am a single mom, who was in the US Army for 5 years and have full custody of my two toddlers. My ex-husband and his wife, who resides in Georgia, had my two children for visitation for thanksgiving and christmas 2005. I have been given full custody of both children, he has "reasonable" visitation...

Re: advice urgently need please ty
Who called the police? If CPS comes you ABSOLUTELY shouldn't let them into your home. While they're standing outside (or if you're too upset, don't answer their knock, then they'll leave their card or a message stuck to your door), tell them you want them to send whatever information they have for ...

Re: Personality Disorders
Four-year-olds do not have personality disorders and are not really old enough for a diagnosis of ADHD or bipolar disorder. The kinds of behaviors you are describing are common with inadequate parenting, not necessarily abuse, but inadequate just the same. I would suggest your daughter atake some p...

CPS will probably go easier, much easier on your daughter, if she gets rid of her boyfriend completely, or at least convinces CPS that she has broken off every aspect of her relationship with him. I think you'll find that if she does this, or convinces them that she has, they will feel that the pro...

It is bollocks when they say it will go away, it won't. Not if your names are in the Registry, and they will keep on coming back like dominios. They are like leeches or vampires looking for blood money. Once you have a case with CPS, you will have the next 5 more in the next 5 years. That is what h...

Interesting! Interesting! Why do you suppose that the CPS just went in the house and take pictures of your house and strip search your child? Fear tactics, people will do just about anything when they are afraid, especially when the big bad government gets involved. With no warrant? Most people are...
