not always

I know I told the truth. I know other DV victims that told the truth. We all lost anyway.

Re: State did not drop order

Well, I sold my car just a bit ago. So I have the money to pay the arrears, but now I'm not sure how I'm getting to court in the first place. I'm going to ask my mom to come get me tomorrow so I can go get a money order and mail this in. Plus, I have to go by the disability office and report that I ...

Re: State did not drop order

They didn't TPR. They were talking about it but didn't go through with it. Right now my parental rights were not terminated, but I cannot see, talk to, or write to my daughter until she's 18. They've been alienating her so much that she doesn't want to talk to me anymore anyway. She's just gone fore...

Re: State did not drop order

It was court ordered through the CPS/Family court system. I'm contacting legal aid in the morning. Legal aid's own website says that people with only SSI as income cannot be forced to pay child support. But I only had SSI when I was ordered to pay in the first place. You are right though, Eljay. My ...

Re: State did not drop order

Well, it looks like they are going to jail me for six months. They are demanding all the arrears up front or I go to jail for six months. All of my money went on crooked attorneys. I don't have the money to pay it. I don't know what I'm going to do.

Re: State did not drop order

You can't walk away from these issues because you don't have a paycheck. And still, just because she's with her dad, does not mean that KY CPS doesn't still have a case and legal custody of her so that they can continue to collect federal funds while the "monitor" her through her local CP...

State did not drop order

I am not sure which board to put this in, but my daughter hasn't been in foster care for a year almost now. KY never ended the child support that went to them because she was in foster care and sent a nasty letter telling I was in arrears. Arrears for a child no longer in their care for nearly a yea...

There are so many of these cases. I hope the poor mother gets her children back.

Does the mother have a lawyer? What is the lawyer doing to get her kids back?

It sounds like your mom is supportive. That's good.

It's a shape they have so much power to rip families apart.

I don't understand why you'd need to pay for her attorney's fees in the first place. It's ridiculous.

I hope you're not put in jail.

Re: what about christians and the church

I have had some Christians tell me that the Holy Spirit told them that I was guilty. I have been subjected to much abuse from Christians. They like to rub all of my shortcomings in my face and tell me bible verses showing how I'm a disgrace, an abomination, etc. I often face much worse treatment at ...

You also cannot get subsidized housing if your name is on the list.

I'm on the list. I'll always be a 'child abuser' now.

Who would review the registry though? Wouldn't it be like the foxes guarding the hen house?

Re: Munchausen By Proxy accusations

Hello. I completely believe you. Everyone here knows the 'twilight zone' feelings you survive. The nightmare you are trapped in is very surreal. The medical evidence that your son does indeed have a provable illness is important to this case. Munchausen by proxy is when the mother causes the illness...

Re: what if my house really is messy?

They said I was a hoarder, but my home didn't look like that even when she was taken away. I was unpacking boxes for a flea market booth after a move and was getting rid of stuff. Most of the personal stuff had already been put away. My mom's place tends to look like that all the time though. I have...

The grandfather did that much improvement and still didn't get the kids??

It just goes to show that CPS already made up their minds.

maybe in some cases an exchange system could be set up 2 people in the same city are being investigated. say one parent doesn't have enough food and another parent needs help cleaning. So the one gives the other parent food and the other helps the other parent clean. Or one needs a babysitter and t...

noroses4u2c ... in most states the caseworkers are bound by confidentiality laws, but the parents are not. This is your life you're talking about ... you're not a government employee! Unless there's a court-issued gag-order I don't see why you speaking out would violate your child's confidentiality...

Sounds to me like they want to keep interviewing him until he breaks down and says what they want him to say in order to get them to leave him alone. Police do this to suspects too. It is a more subtle form of psychological torture/bullying. I was subjected to it when I was fifteen and I tell you th...

i doubt ALL of them were taken back by their own parents. the teenagers especially probably just ran away because they didn't like foster care. the younger ones may have been their parents took them back somehow. There have been cases where the foster/adoptive parents abused the children and either...

If there is so much as one dirty dish in your sink, never let them in your home.
