Re: Can they do this?
the CPS usually check other relatives or people's criminal background and if they are cleared or clean, I don't see why this becomes a problem. they won't place children with people/relatives with a lenghty criminal background, or anything that comes up on their computer checks. that's the way how C...

Re: CPS Protection
they only do a CPS investigation where you reside in...where the child reside. they cannot do an investigation outside the jurisidiction. you will never get away from CPS, I have been through this for the 13th time...since 2000, and they are still harrassing us into 2011. you need to check state by ...

I know, it's kind of werid asking the Translator to "release information", it's like asking the blind man to borrow his cane. it's absurd. The Translator is just there for a job, which is just translating. that's it. The Translator told me that they do not know any information to give to C...

Re: Question: Investigation vs. Saftey plan
Yes, thank you everyone. Yes, they do have some kind of a Hearing thing. and also a complaint process to the CPS. some one offered an advice to file complaint with the Director of Social Services, not the Director of CPS. that is the difference. I do hope all of this will straigten out their false r...

Re: File Private Information in Court (for Canada) only
this is the information given to me by the Police Officer, is if you have a complaint against CPS, you can file private information in Court to have the Judge take a look at the wrongdoings on the parts of CPS. If the Judge found that CPS has been in the wrong, they can be fined and/or be charged of...

Why don't you use the same Lawyer that won the Lawsuit for the Mother in California, in the tune of 4.9 Millions dollars? the mother won the case against CPS. Use same lawyer as hers. Yes it's in California area. I forget what the lawyer's name is. but it's known to the public and on the internet. G...

You need to be at the court hearing before the 5 days are up. get a lawyer asap and get those paper work rolling to fight these charges. you need to gather up all the evidence and proof of no wrongdoings, and bring them to court along with declarations and corrections paperwork. be ready to have wit...

Re: A Glossary of Terms
Thank you Linda, I appreciate it, I thought Intervention usually means like on TV such as Drugs and Alcohol addicition, or whatever they call it, there's none here. I don't see why there's a problem here. Daughter goes to work 3 to 4 times a week, she's almost 16 years old. and they spend most times...

Re: so parents what are you gonna do about this whole mess?
What I would like to see in the New Year is to have Ontario CPS reformed to be like British Columbia CPS because in B.C., they are governed by the Ombudsman, but here in Ontario, they are not governed by the Ombudsman, but private business. I would like to see that changed here to be governed by the...

Re: I also need help!!!
You need a Lawyer asap. find out if they have filed removal papers with Court, and document everything. I know this sounds harsh, but it's necessary, is to seperate yourself with your parents, do not talk to them, do not give them info. on what's going on. Leave them clueless. it's not their busines...

I am going to use this if I can prove that CPS has made a false allegation and make stuff up against me, and made a case that was fraudulent. Offence 25.A person who knowingly, (a) fails to furnish a report required by the Minister under subsection 5 (5); (b) contravenes subsection 6 (2) or (3) (obs...

Not yet, but I think I plan on going to file a report against the caller for filing a false report, it's a crime to call in a false report. I just might know who the caller is now. they will all go down. I am thinking about filing a lawsuit. Linda, no, not yet, but I have spoken to the Transalator, ...

Re: Lost our Daughter while traveling to CPS!!
If this was a normal case, this would be classified as a state kidnapping, because across the state border and jurisidiction, some one could be charged for keeping a child in another state where the parents really lived in another state, I would see this as state kidnapping. Please check out the jur...

Re: Question: Investigation vs. Saftey plan
I think I found some excerpts of the Child and Family Services Act, it's very interesting read...states it's up to 6 months for the plan and if not needed, it will become avoided, but however if they cannot find anything in their "investigation", it will become void. http://www.e-laws.gov....

Question: Investigation vs. Saftey plan
I have a question as it happened to me once before, and I know it will again, the question is: Can the Investigation worker give you a safety plan before the investigations were even finished???? I've had one saftey plan shoved in my face over false accusations in 2000-2001 but was later dropped by ...

Re: Please Don't Call CPS
I'd have to agree, never call CPS out of revenge to obtain custody of the child/ren. because it could backfire on you. Best chance to take it to your Lawyer and discuss your rights with the Lawyer and get custody this way. CPS hates Court cases that was already handled by Lawyers. Remember Family Cu...

Linda is right, I have been with CPS since 2000, about 12 or 13 cases all together, that CPS Workers cannot be trusted! they will act like your friend, will "help" you in any way you need, will console you, then when you put down your defenses, they jump on you real nasty. Trust me on this...

What about Intervention??? What's the real definition for this? I assume they are talking about real abuse, physical abuse and/or violence. but could that be mean with anything???? There was no violence or any abuse in my home, none whatsover. and yet they talk about "intervention". what's...

if there are no removal order papers, I don't think they can do this on a Christmas Day since Courts are closed. Report this to the Police, as there could be possible kidnapping. then get a Lawyer as soon as possible before 5 days are up. because that's when it's too late. Go to court as soon it ope...

Keep mindful that the letter dated Dec. 21st, some one called to CPS out of revenge, it does not state any reason, an intervention from what?????? from who? where? nothing was mentioned. just my two daughters may be in need of an intervention and they want to meet with me in my home with an Interpet...

Intervention and Protection concerns
Here we go again, CPS has come back yet for another round, looking for reasons to kidnap my children. In the Letter dated December 21st, they say that my daughters almost 16 yrsold, and almost 11 years old, may be in need of an Intervention and they want to meet with me in my home, to address protec...
