Looking for Parents/Class Action Lawsuit by McMillan lawfirm
I'm just pasting this here: And think this is an excellent opportunity to be heard if this situation applies to you. This announcement is impressive because it is made by Shawn McMillan. He has been most successful for suing CPS and has won a number of judgments for families who have sued, one of th...

Each state, I believes holds a list called a CACI for short (Child Abuse Central Index). I believe the state's DOJ hold's the list. Check here for information per your state: https://www.childwelfare.gov/systemwide/laws_policies/statutes/registry.pdf

Re: Devastated about custody
If you're in California, go get your own psych eval, they're called 730's. It was recommended to me to have one handy as they do know it's used as a weapon against re-unification and they have their own little army of paid off consultants to get their results....so get your own first, I heard it pis...

Just to be sure, look up your specific state at childwelfare.gov and see how involuntary vs. voluntary tpr works. Check to make sure it's not a trick. I have heard from grandparents here who, after termination, are hung up on and told they are not related now legally, click.

Re: Thieving Foster Parents
yep. It's a free ride in a nice country. I read an article recently that said it takes $243,000 per child to raise until 18. I know families get adoption payments, tax benefits and lots of things for free. I don't care, I think, as long as the kids are with a good loving family and not all these hor...

We are standing, there's lots of us too. If you ever want to connect with them, just ask me, they would be a great support for you. I know you cannot let go of your children, nor can I mine. You know what's going on, you do know cps because you know what they're about, money. Do you know anything ab...

What state are you in? Is cps and your mother going for guardianship? Are you under a caseplan now? Do you have visits? Does the dad have visits? How is the caseplan going, are they making you take classes and such? When is your next court date and what are the exact allegations they took the child ...

Re: Devastated about custody
I believe the children are being told that you do not want them home or "are not doing what you need to do" in order to get them home....and it's depressing to her. Are they also in therapy? I have learned from my own children that they were taken to therapists weekly, while still in the r...

Re: New here....being investigated for munchausend by proxy
Okay, I've been seeing this a lot and have a few friends where they are trying the Munchausen's route. I am not real sure you are under investigation. Each state has laws on the amount of time an case can be under "investigation" and it's usually about 30 days, some states like California ...

Sorry I haven't been here in awhile. You really need to test clean and sober because that's all that's going to count when it comes to your appeal. It is good that at least your mom has kid, as in most cases, they are fostered out and never seen or heard from again. Be grateful, if possible for that...

Sorry I haven't been here in a while Broken Hearted. I understand what you're going through. I think you might have had referee Horton? Re: BROKEN HEART MOM
Legal malpractice and a civil rights lawsuit may still be possible but it won't bring your child home. Do you know where your children are or who has them? When was your termination date?

Re: can a social worker change police reports?
Social worker reports are entered into evidence as FACTS, even when they say outrageous things in them. If you don't appeal the hearings and/or get your own evidence submitted for the record to dispute them, they'll be entered as fact. If you have a social worker report, try filing one of these: htt...

Re: Court Granted Standing in PA (now what?)
Maybe you can ask your lawyer to ask the court to order a home study on your home, pending the appeal? I mean that seems reasonable to me, to get ready for you to take her. It just sounds like a horrible situation as in reading case law of late, it seems most courts rule that foster parents/stranger...

You are under investigation, don't SIGN a thing until you read this: http://fightcps.com/2010/04/09/what-to-do-if-child-protective-services-social-workers-are-investigating-you/ The CPS people by federal law, need to tell you the SPECIFIC allegations, because somewhat like a c...
