forced entry
do they have to show a warrant for forced entry in california?
Re: forced entry
If they want entry into your home at all, they need a warrant signed (not just stamped) by a judge saying they have the authority to do so. They can threaten and rave if they so choose, but they cannot enter without your permission or a warrant.
Re: forced entry
well the police officer told me if i didnt open the door they would break it down they also said they had one but they did not produce one even when asked repeatedly.

Re: forced entry
In an emergency, exigent circumstances or imminent danger to the extent it threatens life and limb of the child, the courts have held that only under these circumstances may CPS and law enforcement enter your home absent a court order... This link is an excellent place to being researching along with this website.... I hope your journaling all this so as to remember the details in case you would decide to sue or for appeal.
