What were the allegations against you and/or your wife?

Why does she want your son to see a psychiatrist?

Did you sign a case plan or anything else?

Thanks for the replies. I've read that by letting the social worker in, I waived my rights. Does this mean our rights are waived as far as future visits? I never want these people in my house or to speak to my children again. Then the other part of me says to just go with it, we have absolutely nothing to hide, this will just blow over. But after hearing all the horror stories.....Our nerves are shot.

How far do they have their claws into you? Have you signed a service plan? Have you been taken to court? Do you still have custody of your children?

If none of those apply, you might be able to get away with not allowing them into your home.

If they've already started proceedings against you... do you have a lawyer?

Even if there are no proceedings... do you have a lawyer? Sometimes getting a lawyer to represent you first thing will scare these people off.

Please keep in mind that none of us are lawyers and we can't give legal advice. We are simply telling you what we would do in a similar situation. It is to your advantage to get a lawyer.
