i just reunited with my 2 boys that were taken from me 30 yrs ago.
cps definitely was the kidnapper and the ultimate goal was adoption.
both boys had medical needs.

i called cps for "help" and the payoff for that help was that i lost my boys and they were adopted out. what their financial gain was, i dont know, but, im sure we could find out.

what i would like to know is ----

is there a cps manual that possibly dates back that far?
also, how would i access any pertinent info about them, the foster homes and if the county or an agency was responsible for adopting them out.

also - is there a time limit for a law suit on this? statute of limitations -has it run out?

ok- thanks

M. :)

The last I heard about time limits was 19 years old.

Here's a site that might help you with your questions.

http://www.isrr.net/faq.shtml

This site is to help you find your children once they turn 18 but, they might be able to help you with the other questions you have.

I have always been told that there is a time limit for filing lawsuit proceedings...that is where my biggest fright is cuz i am afraid that not only did I lose them but that I also wont be able to seek any justice after this..my mother is quite adamant about getting justice but sometimes it just seems to be so much easier to just bring clpsure to the situation..they are not going to get away with it but I dont know what you should do...hold onto your prayers...

The reason I gave you the issr was because of your question as to
how would i access any pertinent info about them, the foster homes and if the county or an agency was responsible for adopting them out.
. They might be able to direct you as to how to go about this.

Well, I think there was an impungement File to clear your Case out, is on CPS Investigations on how to expunge your file, it is on the top two Message Board.

How to find out your Case, you can always request in Letter sent to CPS to where your Kids were kidnapped and adopted out and request that you need information to who the CPS Workers are....etc...etc....1970's are when they are newbies, and fresh start up new CPS Agency and very virvulent stealing Kids back then and still do to this day.

Filing Lawsuits, is when the Adoptive Kids turns 18 yrs old and the Kids can sue the CPS Agency and Foster Homes, and so forth. For yourself, the time limit was two years but together Kids and you can file together to sue them together.

You can always read Newspapers in the 70's to see if there are CPS Names pop up in your area and you might be familiar to their Names. 70's CPS Agnecy are just as BAD and EVIL just like Today's CPS, just worse off.

Just do all your research on Law Cases dating back to 70's by going to Court asking for Past Cases that were decided with CPS, Newspapers, Law Libraries can be good also, and also you need to request a real good Civil Private Lawyer who can fight the fight for you. You can always go to the Civil Court Route or Federal Court Level with your Kids suing them.

You are so great with this Story about Families being renuinted, it is so true that God promised to bring back Families. :D Congrats to you and all the good luck for your Lawsuit. Be reminded that your Kids needs to document everything about what goes on in the Foster Care system such as Abuses or Neglect. That is very important in any Civil Lawsuit.
