Motion for a new trial

When a trial court grants a motion for new trial, the case is reinstated on the trial court’s docket as though no trial had occurred, and the slate is essentially wiped clean as to orders such as an oral pronouncement of judgment and written judgment based on the trial.

Where can I find that for Ohio. I have a mom that lives here and they claim medical neglected, the thing is nothing happened until after the babies were out of the house. I could really use your help, I am trying everything I can to help the mom.
