2 year old child hit and kicked by childcare employee (MD)

Last week a grand jury in Frederick, Maryland decided not to bring criminal charges against Amanda Markoe after viewing this security camera video.

It shows Markoe putting the child in a chair, kicking him in the leg and hitting him across face.

The incident happened in June at the Frederick YMCA.

Markoe was fired from her job but the boy's mother says she will pursue charges against a Markoe.

The Frederick YMCA says they've gone back through other tapes dating back to May, when the surveillance system was installed.

They say in the future they plan monitor the videos more closely.
