Arkansas grandparents gain stronger visitation rights

Grandchildren in Arkansas can no longer be kept from their grandparents simply because the custodial parent says so. It now no longer matters whether your child has physical custody of their kids. Maternal and paternal grandparents alike can petition the court for visitation rights. This is considered a victory by grandparents across the state who are caught in the middle of custody battles.
