How would one go about beginning to file a formal complaint against DCF/CPS in Florida?
You've asked a question that has more then one answer, depending on where your family is in the process and what the formal complaint is about. Additionally, knowing precisely to whom to lodge a formal complaint with is further complicated in Florida because although the Department of Children and Families handles the initial Child Protection Investigation in response to hotline calls, the actual management of an open case is contracted out to Lutheran Services.
