How does Parent Insure Children get Proper Medical Attention

Postby MommysCF » Sun Jan 15, 2006 11:45 pm

How does one get abusive treatment of their children thoroughly checked out by a physician who has morals and is not afraid to speak against CYS? My daughter continually has an ongoing, bleeding-type of diaper rash that is constantly there every week I change her during visits. It has been there for a year and a half of being in her paternal grandparents care! Meanwhile, the one month I had my children returned to me, I had her completely cleared up! Then, theres my son, just recently has diaper rash and soreness that makes no sense to me! As well, never had diaper rash in my care! Plus, my son has complained of the two, older children living in the home that the paternal grandparents are raising as well of hurting him! To go along with this, there are always bruises on his face, chest, stomach, back, thighs and shins. I was under the impression anything above the diaper line is considered abuse! Guess not in this case! Then there's my son's mic-key button that his grandmother is terrified to change! I recently video-taped myself changing it and had my parents witness the filth of it! In addition, we have a grandmother sleeping with her grandson who is about to be 4! Before that, she always slept with another grandson she is raising who is now about 16! When I had my son before this whole mess started, at 2 and a half, he never had an issue sleeping in his own toddler bed. As well, when I had him returned to me for a month, within 2 wks. he was back to sleeping in his bed! So, whats the problem with this picture? Then theres the whole potty training thing that is left by the wayside and I had my son at least starting to sit on it without a diaper by 2! Its disgusting what is happening here medically to my children and I am having a heck of a time when I get one excuse after another from the caseworker who simply adores the paternal grandmother here who was a YMCA daycare teacher! That makes no difference to me because I know the family personally; obviously if I had two children with their son who is currently in prison! They are very ill-mannered people and I am scared to death for the safety and well-being of my children in this home! I have gone so far as begging the caseworker to get them out of there and she refuses citing the fact they like to keep them in the family - makes sense since this "family" sees my children as a commodity and not as their grandchildren! Anyways, sorry for venting, but seriously, what is the best route to go to insure they are really being checked out properly! My son suffers from a fatal, genetic disease which heightens my worry for him when I cared for him 110%! Not to mention, this family shows favortism towards my daughter, who thank the Lord didn't inherit this genetic disease, but this puts my son at a greater risk considering he is medically fragile and has alot more special needs! Any advice greatly appreciated!

You need to place your question on the cpsinvestigative forum

This is where the majority of questions posted are answered.

Here is the link

I don't have any answers to this particular question, but there are so many more on the other forum who might.

This is not legal advice;hopefully wisdom

To put it in simple terms…when the authorities ARE the perpetrators and the perpetrators ARE the authorities, there is no earthly justice or recourse, at the end of the day (unless the American people wake up).

Therefore, those who have achieved the highest levels of power seek to ‘enjoy’ the most grievous and extreme injustices. For many of those in the highest circles of power, the greatest statement of power is to perpetrate the greatest possible injustice…the savage, brutal traumatization and abuse of an innocent child.
