2nd chance to prove 'no abuse'

Postby mom2boys » Wed Jun 06, 2007 6:59 pm

Its like a awful train wreck coming. They screwed up and are 'giving' us another hearing. ( I think they are trying to cover thier butts becaue they know they didnt follow policy (we have it on tape.)

Now I have to prove my sons tantrum and me saying 'shoosh' was not abuse. ???????????? The social worker that started all this was with a new trainee. Nothing ever became of her call to police, they just left saying what a wasted call. Case closed. No plans, no nothing- zip. But on the registery. :(

If cps only has to write the words ABUSE on a sheet of paper in order for the allegation to be vaild, HOW DOES ONE DISPUTE THIS????? Im so confused as to where to go with this. I cant 'disprove' their opinion, I can only state my opinion- and then whats the use, chances are this is just another staged performance on their part to 'act accroding to policy.' <sigh>

I don't know that you can prove no abuse occurred.

Essentially you need to get any police reports that were made and interviews or statements from people that know you and can say they have never seen abuse.

A lawyer may be beneficial but I don't know what they could do.

It's like they are telling you that you have to prove you are innocent. They are going about it backwards. It should be that CPS have to prove there was abuse.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
What the Lord gives you, man can not take away.
