Survey?

Postby eyeq181 » Mon Mar 10, 2008 3:34 pm

Ha Ha!

Has anyone ever gotten a survey to fill out, on your case and the Social Workers performance. I just find it to be funny. With questions like do think you children are safe? Have OKDHS staff treated you with respect?

It's just funny...
Parents spend so much time teaching our kids not to go with strangers or talk to strangers, and no to show your body to strangers. And this is what CPS-DHS is all about.

We took part in some stupid state survey. It didn't completly backfire, but we ended up having to take a mental health evaluation after the survey. Mental health apologised since they hadn't planned on one. The funny thing is our survey was about how CPS got involved not about how they treated us.

I would assume its like what Trish ran into. If you say you dont think your kids are safe ..here they come ...If you say you dont know or unsure ..here they come ...if they say yes, but CPS says they arent, here they come because you are in denial and dont have a gripon reality.

I would avoid filling out anything like that. PERIOD. No contact is the best contact!

Our mental health caseworkers (we had 4 from Jan. to July) all told the court the survey and the mental health evaluation meant nothing. I think in our case, thanks to MH it worked in our favor. If CPS are the only ones involved, I wouldn't fill it out. Momoffor is right, they'll just use it against you.

i took that survey, at the end of the survey they had a place to write comments, i wrote that there was not enough room to evaulate how i percieved how i was treated, so i typed and attached a 4 page letter. i got alot of calls back from that. the survey was done by a third party agency brought in by our governor to evaulate our DFACS. it was copied and forwarded to 10 other agencies, so i got a little more attention. i say fill it out and be very boisterous in your answers and if they ask for more, give them more.
