File for custody directly with the court. If they deny it, file an appeal to a higher court. Call the Clerk of the juvenile court and ask them where to get the form, the fee, etc.

We had a woman on here a couple of years ago who complained of abuse in foster care in our state. I emailed the state office, and they said to call law enforcement.

A Civil Rights complaint can be filed with the FBI sometimes, especially if there is a pattern of abuse. This is the equivalent of discrimination.

Go to the FBI website and search for color of law

Where is your court-appointed attorney?

You are required under federal law to receive legal notice of hearings.

Does your disability prevent you from driving? If so, you may be entitled to transportation to the hearings. Do you have a Disability advocate?

Does the child welfare agency have court-ordered "legal custody" and guardianship, or do you still retain legal custody? If you are not sure, then call the juvenile courthouse and ask them.
