Agreed, HSLDA is a fantastic source of help and information. They've helped CPS victims as much or more than they've helped homeschool families. But this booklet was written/compiled by a couple in Connecticut who had no affiliation with HSLDA.
The couple's case was in part based on the mother's religious preference (Pagan).
