LOUISIANA need an attorney

Postby tutzi » Fri Jan 27, 2012 11:00 am

My daughter and I want to sue cps we been calling attorney's left and right, everybody tells us we have a case but it is too much trouble to fight against cps, or they tell us sorry this is a bad story but cps works for the state and they have immunity.
Would it be advisable to try and represent ourselves? Or does anyone know of an attorney in Louisiana who takes those cases?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

In her case, she never did hire a private atty.

Here are some links you can try:

http://www.noladivorcelawyer.com/Child_Abuse.html and she says:
I am an attorney in Louisiana, New Orleans, Jefferson and Slidel area. I have fought CPS (here called DCFS or OCS) for 20 years. Please see my website, NolaDivorceLawyer.com for more information about CPS defense. I will gladly post a link to your site on my website. CPS is the most horrible example of injustice. It is my pleasure to fight them. I have gone to my State Supreme Court seven times, and WON against them.

Paid site, but try it: http://www.lawinfo.com/attorney/child-p ... louisiana/
Advice & opinions provided are no substitute for genuine legal assistance. Laws & rules vary by state/jurisdiction so do your homework and get
an education in CPS laws, rules & practices so that you can FIGHT for your children's rights. I am not a lawyer. Your mileage may vary.

The attorney that responded with her link is the same attorney that we have been referred to by other family law attorneys. She is expensive from our standards but after much research, she is the best when it comes to CPS issues. We are currently attempting to raise the funds to hire her. If you have financing available, I would suggest making contact with her.
