Ok so anonymous therapy DOES EXIST!

How does one recover from trauma and PTSD? This area is for people who have been attacked by CPS and are having a hard time getting over it.

Ok so anonymous therapy DOES EXIST!

Just because, I googled "anonymous therapy", not really expecting much in the way of results. Well, lo and behold: anonymoustherapy dot com.

http://www.anonymoustherapy.com/

Now I don't see how this would work for children in need of therapy, and I am sure it is not cheap... but I thought I'd put it out there anyway. I would, of course, THOROUGHLY research this group before handing over my money.

Just thought I would share. Still no clues on what to do about our daughter, short of me changing my major to psychology and providing my own damn family's therapy myself. Of course by the time I graduated years would have gone by!

Thanks for the link.

we actively encourage the use of creative pseudonyms. We take everything said to us as fantasy not as pure fact to avoid the usual legal pitfalls on confidentiality breaches that most counselling and psychotherapy services are prone to

This sounds like an interesting approach.

I hope you find a solution that works for you and your daughter. Finding a good therapist can be tricky. They're all mandated reporters, but some are more trigger-happy than others.

Well it looks like we might have found some middle ground. Found a therapist who specializes in Reactive Attachment Disorder, or RAD, and one of the "hallmarks" of RAD is triangulation and lying... and so most RAD specialist therapists conduct therapy sessions with the parent or parents participating, vs. the child "off alone". So this sounds more like something that would work for us. Only problem is, it's an hour and a half away so she could only go every other week but it's a start! Just waiting on car repairs to get it going, hopefully!
