Withholding Evidence

Postby cameo » Sun Aug 28, 2011 7:57 pm

Hi,

I would like to know if the same rules and laws for withholding evidence that apply in state or federal court for criminal cases also apply to CPS?

Thanks,

I've never heard of CPS workers being penalized for withholding evidence. I don't know the exact laws you refer to - so possibly there are laws covering this. But CPS workers will get away with whatever they can. They hide exculpatory evidence so they can win their cases. It is up to the accused parents to present their side of the case to the court - in writing, with evidence.
