Investigations

Postby AMK13 » Wed Feb 06, 2013 11:18 am

Is a Child Protective Service Worker allowed to talk to members of your family that are outside the household that are not given as references if you have not given consent? If so how would they get the cell phone numbers and names of said family members? Is there no confidentiality rights when it was an anonymous call (based on untrue statements) is being investigated?

This is the federal policy that the states are supposed to follow:

Advice & opinions provided are no substitute for genuine legal assistance. Laws & rules vary by state/jurisdiction so do your homework and get
an education in CPS laws, rules & practices so that you can FIGHT for your children's rights. I am not a lawyer. Your mileage may vary.
