Are there statistics about the percentage of children in foster care that end up in prison or do not make it to college? If some one could find some, it'd be much appreciated.

20,000 youth annually "age out" of the system at 18 years old

Estimated 70% of U.S. prison populations are ex-foster children

Up to 60% have experienced homelessness

Estimated 70 to 75% end up in prostitution, on drugs or dealing drugs

.

It depends on which state you are in and how old you are. Services vary widely.

Are you in "permanent" foster care, or are you considered "adoptible?"

Go to your state gov. site and search for "foster care" and any other related terms.

If you are around 17 yrs. old, search for "independent living."
