Articles on Sex Offender Treatment

In False Sexual Abuse allegations, or even if offender is truly guilty, offenders are required by DHHS (or court-mandated) to submit to sex offender therapy. These articles discuss the legal and ethical issues surrounding that, and the corresponding constitutional rights being violated, aside from deviation from the normal therapist-client relationship due to the coercive nature of the "treatment" instead of the client (patient) giving informed consent.

Hence it is not reasonable for DHHS to ask that a parent accused of child sexual abuse undergo SOT prior to being allowed reunification with the allegedly abused child.
