CPS Nationally

Postby kiddydat » Wed Apr 08, 2015 8:22 am

I find this resource could be very helpful to those who are just beginning the battle or contact with CPS. The information can be overwhelming in which case you may want to just pay attention to the tables at the end of each chapter as they pertain to your state.

If this link does not work for any reason go to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services website and search National study of CPS Services.

If you have read "Sample-Letter upon initial CPS Contact", in this forums' documents section, you may find this a helpful additional resource to understanding how CPS processes referrals in your state, how soon they will be acted upon, and by whom.

Thanks for posting that. I will read it. Here's a live link: National Study of Child Protective Services Systems and Reform Efforts - is that the page you were pointing us to?
