RAD

Postby maluga » Sat Dec 29, 2012 2:04 pm

My caseworker is now saying my child had reactive attachment disorder. She says the phsyc that saw her said she has had it since befor CPS took her in April 2010. How can he tell that? If she has RAD don't you think it could be from them ripping her from her parents, not letting us visit for 8 months and bouncing her through 3 homes? Idiots? I am finished with my case plan, and they now want to terminate my rights. Keep in mind their are no allegations of abuse ever. Just dependency because I struggled with perscriptions. But I am 6 months clean and done with counsleing. Sucks.

I agree that the RAD is caused by CPS ripping your child away from the ones she loves at home. It sadly will be much more difficult for her to form lasting emotional bonds in the future, due to her experience with CPS.
