LISTING OF STATES THAT HAVE CHILDREN'S OMBUDSMANS OFFICES

Postby Dazeemay » Wed Jun 14, 2006 7:29 pm

**********************************
This is not legal advice;hopefully wisdom

To put it in simple terms…when the authorities ARE the perpetrators and the perpetrators ARE the authorities, there is no earthly justice or recourse, at the end of the day (unless the American people wake up).

Therefore, those who have achieved the highest levels of power seek to ‘enjoy’ the most grievous and extreme injustices. For many of those in the highest circles of power, the greatest statement of power is to perpetrate the greatest possible injustice…the savage, brutal traumatization and abuse of an innocent child.

The Ombudsman will:
Look at complaints and see if he/she can help.
Get more information.
Notify STATE of MAINE's DHHS of problems.
Work with people to find out what is wrong and try to fix the problem.
Provide services, as needed, to iron out difficulties.

The Ombudsman will also:
Help families get the assistance and the support they need.
Provide information and technical assistance to STATE of MAINE's DHHS caseworkers and managers.
Make recommendations to improve the system.
Answer questions about the role and duties of the Ombudsman.

Seek help from an Ombudsman when:
You are concerned about what is happening between your children and STATE OF MAINE's DHHS.
You think that STATE of MAINE's DHHS is interfering with your rights as a parent.
You disagree with the plan developed by a STATE of MAINE's DHHS caseworker.
